When we are called to God's work we are as empty vessels. We ask may the Spirit fill us and guide us. We do not act for the self. We act for the whole. In whatever way we may have got there, it is purely by the will of God. Wherever we are at this moment, even as we read this - it is where God wants us, and has placed us. That being so, we are therefore all an instrument of Divine Will - no matter what path it is we tread in this life. That, dear churches, you cannot deny.
Those who wish to follow the path of the Spiritualists' National Union should be allowed to do so, unhindered in their pursuit of those questionable objects. However, there is a silent and intimidated majority who have been systematically walked over by those who are 'elected to serve the membership in whatever manner they direct'. (Direct SNU Church Manual quote).
For instance, when I was President of Waterloo there were some ghastly mediums who over the years tried their level best to have me removed. I still booked those mediums - even though they despised me personally and consistently let me know. In other words, I was doing what the membership and congregation wanted, irrespective of how those same mediums had conspired to have their needs and desires met over the needs and desires of Waterloo Spiritualist Church and all its incumbents.
Those of you who are privileged enough in this life to lead or serve in one of God's Houses on earth, and represent the Spirit World to ordinary people in such a conspicuous way, should be ashamed of yourselves. You have made a mockery of your positions of extreme trust and good status. Quote; "How like the pharisees you are. You cannot see the light yourselves and therefore will not let anyone else!"
And now we make our distinction. You should be solidly beside me in this struggle against the thieves. Did the SNU buy and pay for your church? NO! Do you feel shame in any of your prejudgements? No? Remember, where the Spirit is concerned, ignorance is no excuse.
A time will come when you will feel shame for your judgmental thoughts and deeds against me - whether it be in this life or the next. If you feel that shame now then therein lies salvation. For that same shame you feel shall ultimately save you in the end. When we work for the Spirit we do not lie or cheat and neither do we misrepresent those who show difference with us.
And neither do we have any fear or doubt when we are about God's work. Fear does not exist, only ignorance!
Suffice to say, the Spiritualists' National Union is a vipers' nest and if you support them then you're going to get bitten time and time again, and in times to come. If nothing else, I've had the courage of my convictions to stand up and say enough is enough and properly represent the rights of those I'm elected to serve. How many of you have done that? It is not a personal fight against the SNU, it is the SNU v The People of Waterloo Church - i.e.; people just like your members who've found themselves trodden on. How fortuitous then that they have a President and Committee who are willing to challenge the thieves when they try to break through and steal that which is not theirs to take. Will you look after your members the same way when the time comes or will you flee your posts?
Whatever the outcome of the case, at least we will have our dignity intact. If I win this case then the SNU has no more power in your Church. I think that's a good, honest and worthy thing to fight for, and so do the Spirit World. Make no mistake, the Spirit World are not on the side of the SNU! You are a fool if you think they are. But because they're on my side doesn't mean I'll win either. Quote; "For dominion in this world is all too often given to those who work for the dark". That said, it is still by Spirit's design that these things have come about.
I would further say that the easiest path to tread is the one of servitude and slavery. The bravest and hardest path to tread is the one that declares to the world you are not up for corruption, conspiracy, thievery, lies, favourites or trickery. You've made your unrepresentative stand against myself and the people I speak for, and I've made mine.
The fact is, your churches and centres will never be happy as long as they are run by hypocrits on the part of mutual self-interest.
